Indian Visa Process: Medical/Tourist Required Document List
Required Documents for Visa Application
Please make sure to prepare and submit the following documents carefully:
General Requirements:
- A copy of the payment invoice
- Application form (1 page)
- Photocopy of National ID card or Birth Certificate
- Utility bill copy – Electricity, Gas, WASA, or Water bill
- If using a digital meter, include a photocopy of your prepaid card
- The bill copy must not be older than 6 months
- Bank statement or Dollar Endorsement – Minimum USD 150 per person
- The bank statement must cover the last 3 months
- The minimum final balance should be at least BDT 20,000
Additional Supporting Documents (as applicable):
For Employees:
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) or Official Letter from Employer
- Salary certificate and office ID card copy
For Government Employees:
- Government Order (GO) or official authorization letter
For Business Owners:
- Trade license copy
- Company bank statement
- Invitation letter (for business visa)
- Company cover letter
- TIN certificate, VAT challan, Chamber of Commerce certificate
- IRC/ERC certificate, Memorandum, Certificate of Incorporation
- LC copy (if applicable)
For Medical Visa:
- Appointment letter from Indian doctor or hospital
- Prescription and medical test reports (original copies)
For Students:
- Tuition fee payment receipt and/or student ID card copy
For Minors (Children):
- Copy of parents’ valid visa or visa fee deposit slip
For Agriculture Professionals:
- Land ownership document (Khatian) copy
If the old passport is lost:
- GD (General Diary) copy
- Affidavit
- Loss circular
Photo Requirements:
- One recent 2×2 inch photo
- The photo must match the online application photo
- White background, no glasses, forehead and ears visible
- Previously used passport/visa photos are not accepted
